David M Kowalczyk, MD MBA

Dr. David Kowalczyk is a board-certified head, neck, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon who proudly brings his advanced skills and artistic talents to Colorado Facial Plastic Surgery in Englewood, CO. Though he performs a wide variety of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, Dr. Kowalczyk maintains a special passion for functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty in light of his extensive specialized training. As an exceptionally skilled facial plastic surgeon, his principal objective is to provide Denver area patients with honest, meticulous, and long-term care by safely implementing the latest surgical technologies and techniques in use today.

Dr. Kowalczyk earned his doctor of medicine (M.D.) degree at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA, where he served as a member of the highly selective and prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. During a demanding otolaryngology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS, he was extensively trained to treat and manage head and neck diseases, earned a master's in business administration (MBA), and authored a number of medical publications. Dr. Kowalczyk has completed extensive research and presented on specialized topics ranging from rhinoplasty to otolaryngology.

Board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. Kowalczyk specializes in rhinoplasty, facial and plastic reconstructive surgery, head and neck surgery, and cosmetic surgery. Before deciding to further his training in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck, he served as a private practice general ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist (or otolaryngologist). In this role, Dr. Kowalczyk performed a wide range of procedures involving the ears, nose, and throat, all of which allowed him to expand upon his growing body of knowledge, refined skills, and specialized experience. He then went on to attend a prestigious fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Illinois in Chicago, IL under the direction of Dr. Dean M. Toriumi, the world's top rhinoplasty expert.
