Justin Coco, D.O.
Justin Coco, D.O. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. He attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate degree, where he was first introduced to medicine by working in medical research. He then attended medical school in his home town at Des Moines University. His medical training took him to 10 different states that eventually lead to residency training in Ophthalmology at Midwestern University in Chicago. After Ophthalmology residency, he proudly served in the United States Army as Chief of Ophthalmology.While serving, Dr. Coco was able to gain additional expertise in laser corrective surgery, performing thousands of procedures on our nation’s soldiers at the military’s largest surgery center. There he realized the importance of his mission, where perfect vision gave soldiers an advantage on the battlefield. Dr. Coco retired a Major and moved west to continue his career in Colorado, where his family resides. Dr. Coco now has offices in Denver and Boulder, where he emphasizes delivering exceptional care and surgical outcomes to meets all his patient’s visual needs.
