Harkaran S Rana, DO
Dr. Harkaran Rana is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and is fellowship trained in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery and Craniomaxillofacial Trauma & Reconstructive Surgery. He completed a 7-year accelerated B.S./D.O. program with NYIT and the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with honors. He completed his Ophthalmology training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center; while there he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Rana is a Major in the United States Army. He is currently completing an additional fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Fellow certified by the AAFPRS. Prior to beginning fellowship, he completed a year at Fort Riley as the Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology and the Director of the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Program. Additionally, he was the primary ophthalmologist for the 1st Infantry Division.
His particular areas of interest include deep-plane face lifting, facial rejuvenation surgery, orbitofacial trauma, and reconstructive surgery.
